Marsden & Slaithwaite Renaissance has been working in partnership with our local Transition Towns initiative, the Green Valley Grocer and the Valley Wind Cooperative to develop an innovative community energy project.

This is now seeking funding support via the Energy Share scheme supported by British Gas and River Cottage.

Our first challenge is to secure enough supporters for the project to enable is to pass through to the next stage of the programme, where we can submit a full funding application. You can help by registering your support, if you've not already done so.

Simply go to http://www.energyshare.com/colne-valley-community-energy where you can find out more about the project proposal and how it will benefit residents and businesses within the Colne Valley, and most importantly you can register your support for the project.

The registration deadline is June 30th (Thursday), so please act as soon as possible to log your support for this innovative project.
